The London borough of Haringey has extended its highways maintenance contract with Marlborough Highways by a further two years.
The company’s existing five-year contract was due to expire in June 2025 and will now run until June 2027, with the full life of the contract now valued at up to £98m.
Marlborough is responsible for the upkeep and repair of the road infrastructure, as well as delivering junction improvements, installing traffic calming measures and conducting drainage and urban greening works.
The contract also covers public realm improvement programmes.

Marlborough also operates a separate street lighting contract with Haringey Council, providing lighting and other electrical solutions.
The company said 'this dual agreement provides operational synergy, enabling both Marlborough and the local authority to deliver a comprehensive and integrated service'.
