From flags to cupcakes, all month companies have been celebrating diversity in support for the LGBT community.
There was no lack of rainbows and celebrations this month and Highways is delighted to report the vast support from the infrastructure sector.
Balfour Beatty celebrated London pride early last June writing: ‘What makes Balfour Beatty unique is the expertise and capability of our people.

Kier joined in the celebration, stating that it has 70 sites and offices supporting London and Manchester pride. The firm proudly showcased its personalised rainbow flag.

Mace followed suit and in the tastiest way possible, in the form of a picnic and colourful cupcakes

Companies have been showing that you can celebrate pride from the office, such as Arcadis proudly showcasing its decorated Arcadis house. The company is a supporter and sponsor of Pride in London 2018 and says ‘diversity and inclusion is at the heart of how we improve quality of life.’

Other companies voicing their support for Pride Month on social media include Aggregate Industries, writing: ‘We believe the construction industry must take a progressive and open-minded approach to attract a more diverse talent pool.’
On its Twitter account AECOM Careers wrote: ‘we believe our diverse employees bring immense benefits to our company, and we join together with the #LGBTQ community and allies to celebrate PrideMonth.'
