Intertraffic Amsterdam gets underway next week

Intertraffic Amsterdam – the international trade fair for infrastructure, ITS traffic management, safety and parking – gets underway next week.

The event is taking place at the RAI Convention Centre from 5-8 April 2016.

This year’s show will highlight an increasing shift from low to high-tech (ITS) solutions.

The event’s innovation hall will feature numerous mobility solutions jointly presented and demonstrated, by public as well as by private parties. For the business sector, public authorities and knowledge institutes will closely collaborate in order to further develop the services required to provide road traffic/travel information and traffic management.

The Smart Mobility Theatre will cover themes such as ITS developments, automated and cooperative driving, test beds, big data, mobility as a service and traffic and transport efficiency. Each presentation will have 'connectivity' as a linking pin.

Intertraffic features a practical lay-out with a segmented exhibition floor, divided into five main themes: infrastructure, traffic management, smart mobility, safety and parking.
