Mobile sign specialists join forces

Two leading mobile and solar powered sign specialists have partnered with Colour Mobile VMS to form MVIS (Mobile Visual Information Systems).

MVIS will now be partnered with fellow Derbyshire company, transport technology contractor P&D Specialist Services Ltd and Australian manufacturer of the portable solar traffic equipment, Bartco Traffic Equipment.

MVIS, MD Tony Price said: "I am delighted to announce this new partnership. It combines all of our strengths, including 25 years ITS (Intelligent Transport Solutions) experience with P&D Specialist Services and Bartco’s 15 years experience manufacturing colour mobile VMS signs and innovative Research & Development.”

Colour Mobile VMS was the first company in the UK to supply colour solar powered mobile VMS systems manufactured by Bartco Traffic Equipment.

MVIS will continue to distribute these products, along with a much wider VMS range, including vehicle mounted and permanent pole mounted variants.

In addition to VMS products, MVIS also offer environmentally friendly lighting solutions, and a range of CCTV and Smart Sensor radar solutions mounted on solar platforms.
